QT5.9 online installer does not create qmake.exe

I am trying to install 5.9 for Visual Studio 2017 (64)
I used the online installer for windows, but there is no qmake.exe file created in any of the QT subfolders.
I have the plugin installed in VS2017, but cannot point it to any valid installation.
How do I get QT to create a qmake.exe file ?

I've been a fool!

Needed to tick the compiler when installing - I didn't expand the Tools tab!
