Unsolved Qt for devices options not showing up in Qt Creator
-
I am doing the 30 day eval of Qt for device creation to use on a Raspberry Pi. I am following the instructions posted here:
http://doc.qt.io/QtForDeviceCreation/qtee-preparing-hardware-rasberrypi.html
I downloaded the Qt online installer for Windows, launched the installer, and had a successful install.
The installer then automatically ran Qt Creator.
But it appears as if none of the Qt for device creation stuff is running. The next 3 steps in the installation instructions from above do not show the options as available in the software:
The instructions say to do:
Tools>Flash Boot to Qt Device
but I could not find any such entry under the Tools menuInstructions say to do:
Tools>Options>Devices>Add and select the Boot2Qt Device
but all that shows up is:
Generic Linux Device
QNX DeviceInstructions say to do:
Tools>Options>Build & Run>Kits and select one that starts with "Boot to Qt" that matches your device
but all that show up is:
Desktop
Android Device
Generic Linux Device
QNX Device
Windows Runtime (local)
Windows Phone
Windows Phone EmulatorI tried to create a New Project and it does not list any Qt for devices
Is this a limitation of the 30 day eval, or is Qt for device creation not properly installed?

Hi and welcome to devnet forum
You mean you are using a 30 day trial for commercial license of Qt?
You are here in the opensource forum. Possibly there are users around, who may be able answer your question, but that is not for sure.
AFAIK you may receive some official Qt support during the trial period. They have to know for sure, if there are limitations for the trial period.
