Blur background

I'm trying to blur all background items. I tried to use grabToImage and than add blur effects but this won't take whole screen/window. My root container is ApplicationWindow. Is it possible to make screenshot of Application Window or blur the view somehow?

Hope you are looking for FastBlur etc. Look at QtGraphicalEffects. It should help you.
