    Hi everyone,
I have a parent widget which is refreshed at 60 fps (using QTimer calling update() and interval set to 1000/60). If I open a child QDialog derived custom widget which also is refreshed at 60 fps (same method as for the parent) the fps on both the parent and child gets less, around 40-45 fps. What it the relation of drawing between parent and child widget? Can they don't affect each other but still keep the parent-child relation?
