      Hi,

This can be a silly question, but have tried to cross compile qt for raspberry-pi with Yocto ?

For me this was the easiest way to build qt application in raspberrypi,

I used this tutorial and i was able to build qt application in raspberrypi

      https://www.embarcados.com.br/raspberry-pi-qt5-yocto-parte-1
      https://www.embarcados.com.br/raspberry-pi-qt5-yocto-parte-2/

(it's not in english but google translate can be your friend)

With this tutorial i was able to build qt application in raspberrypi with yocto ,

Maybe this will help you too ?

Yocto was a bit of a dead end to me because my ubuntu 16.04 OS is not supported and I am not going to download, burn and install a new one...

I got me a little further with the qtrpi cross-compiling but after the compiling it is very unclear what to do next.

So I try to native compile on my Rpi in qt creator but I get the following error:
Project ERROR: Unknown module(s) in QT:serialport
