Drag and drop of text in textedit ...??

hello,
i am new to qt ,i have confusion that can we do drag and drop of text contained in one textedit to another textedit but it should get "copy and paste" not "cut and paste" .i tired by google it but i did not get any example regradding it.
so helps can anyone assist me in this ....??thank you...!!!!

You can do it. Just see the drag and drop "example":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/dnd.html and try understand how it works. Based on this you should be able to write your own example.
one question : When you can do copy and paste, why do you want drag and drop ?
