QML Drag & Drop starts late, lags behind and is sluggish

Hi guys

Why does a QML "Drag" action starts many pixels after clicking and moving the mouse!?

It feels really sluggish. How can I fix this?

Please watch this video I have shared on Google Drive and notice how the mouse goes ahead and the item being dragged falls behind:
