@seniorivn A simple answer is that all of the browsers are written to understand age old HTML.

Well html can go many places where QML cannot. QML requires good opengl. I can view webpages in
a minimal linux with a chrome. Many use cases would still need html so a browser that runs QML would be restricted in terms of use cases where it would fit. -
@seniorivn Why do you think so ?

@seniorivn Well there is lot that an be said actually but Ill keep it minimal.
There are indeed other popular JS frameworks like for eg. Facebook's React which too are in someway declarative like QML.
There is no support for QML in standard browsers. Maybe you can try creating your own browser which can understand QML.
Being a fan and user of Qt since a very long time I too would love people to adopt it so widely that browser developers are forced to provide support for QML but its just a dream :)
HTML wins in most of the aspects so it stays. -
@p3c0 looks like html wins only market, but it's not permanent, thanks for answer.
At first qml users should use qmlweb for real, once it becomes popular there will be a room for qml based web browser.@seniorivn said in Web browser with qml insted html+css:
