Embed QT into Windows Native Window

What I want to do is embed a Qt Widget into a transparent Windows Native Window (that is acting as an overlay), whose HWND we know.
I notice with Qt 5.2 there is now something called Qt Windows Extras, which sounds along the lines of what I am looking for. And I seemed to remember there used to be QtWinMigrate.
And for Mac I have found this.

which is all very straightforward.
But, I can't really see how you go about doing this for windows, any advice much appreciated.
