Solved Ubuntu 16.10 GTK Style
-
Hi,
I've just upgraded to Ubuntu 16.10 (from 16.04) and also upgraded to Qt5.7 (from 5.6) at the same time.
I noticed that GTK doesn't appear to be available as a style since doing this. Is this intentional or due to the update of Ubuntu?
Thanks.

Hi,
I've just searched and it looks like it is a bug and that it will not be fixed until 5.8. Here is the bug report for anybody reading this.
Thanks for your help mrjj.

Hi
Not sure where is not available anymore?
Can you provide a bit more context? -
Hi,
I believe the GTK style was originally used as default in Ubuntu.
However, I also tried QStyleFactory::keys() and this returns a list that contains only "Windows" and "Fusion". I'm sure when I've used this in the past it has also included GTK.
Thanks.

Hmm
Could you test this , running the sample in 5.6 ? -
Hi,
I've tried with Qt5.6.2 and this does still default to GTK. Also, QStyleFactory::keys() returns "Windows", "GTK+" and "Fusion". Do you think this may be a bug with Qt 5.7?
Thanks.

@gsxruk
yes it could be.
I have not seen any notice it was removed.
Did not find anything on https://bugreports.qt.io from fast search. If we look here,
https://wiki.qt.io/New_Features_in_Qt_5.7it mentions "gtk+" style so it seems it should be in 5.7 also.
So im not sure what you found :)
