    Hello all!
    I have a project by Windows where I am trying to playback wav files using QMediaPlayer. Files are local and they can be very huge (1Gb or greater). QMediaPlayer works great and it can without significant delays playback huge files.
    But when I use "setMedia()" method like this:

    player->setMedia(QUrl::fromLocalFile(record_name));

    I give all playback wav file rules to player and I can't change it. But I want to modify file payload with standart c functions ( open, write, lseek ).

    Can anyone help me with adviсe, how to playback local file during downloading?
    Thanks!

      @evgenii
      QAudioOutput class gives you more control and you can pass a QIODevice
