Unsolved Way to avoid delay in toolbar button based menu generation?
-
I have noticed that the first time I click on a toolbar button that is supposed to show a menu, there is a significant delay before the menu is drawn. Basically the box appears, then I have to wait several seconds before the menu items are added. I have seen reports that this occurs in context menus as well. I am assuming that something is being initialized in this time though it doesn't seem to be the menu itself because ALL menus work fine after the first one is drawn.
Is there any way to force whatever needs to happen to occur at application load so that this wait doesn't occur the first time a button is pressed?

Hi
That does sound a bit odd.
Maybe mention Qt version and platform. It could be a bug.
Is it possible to reproduce in small sample?
