Hello,
I tested the following witht Qt Creator 2.8.1 and the new Beta Version:
I manipulated some kits, added a user defined one. Then, using the maintenance tool i uninstalled Qt Creator (and Qt). After reinstalling the edits i did to the kits are still there (and a kit that was deleted before uninstalling is not added)
Where are these settings stored and how can i come to a clean installation?Thank you.

On Linux, preferences are stored in $HOME/.config/QtProject/qtcreator
