The prospect of Qt development skill

I have been using Qt for almost a year. Now I can take on any project with Qt, and I would say Qt is wonderful. However, when I check out jobs require Qt, they are slim, and concentrate in Europe/ Asia, or maybe Canada. Is there many Qt developers in US? What do you think of the prospective of your Qt skill in US?
(I know this post relate to job, but I am not look for a job and just want to know the opinion of the Qt developers)
