QT GUI testing

I have a Gui in QT , currently we use only manual testing as testing mechanism . I know of Squish GUI , but does not work properly with our GUI . Could some tell me how can I automated the GUI testing . Basic I should be able to record and replay in QT GUI and create small test cases
