Qt Quick Map - Polyline route display

Hi all
I'm making a sort of a sat nav for an airport application as a uni project. Is it possible that if I created markers at say runway holding points and taxiways, that a polyline could join all these dots up and essentially show the pilot a route to get to the runway?
If so how could I go about this exactly?
