Having been bitten yet again OS incompatibility not easily discovered by reading the Qt documentation, I have filed a suggestion: Make OS incompatibility issues more prominent in the docs. Please vote it up.

Yes – My point is that those docs should be linked to by the relevant classes (e.g. QAudioProbe not supported on OSX) and not left "to be discovered" by posting questions here or on Stack Overflow.
