(SOLVED)Recompiling QT downloaded Installation Program
-
Hello,
I installed Qt libraries 4.8.5 for Windows (VS 2008), which is x86 compiled, with a installation program from downloads page, but I need this for x64 plataform.
So I installed Windows SDK 7.1, opened the Windows SDK 7.1 Command Prompt, run configure and nmake, like would do if I had downloaded the source code.
The processe is going until now, and has passed 4 hours.Would I expect some error?
Thanks!

You should download the source from "here":http://download.qt-project.org/official_releases/qt/4.8/4.8.5/qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.8.5.zip
The zip file is for compilation. In the past there has been quite some issues with trying to recompile the source code as supplied with the pre-built versions. Therefore, it is better to start from scratch with the original code. -
Thanks koahnig!
I downloaded the source and compile by this, better not take the risk.
Cya!
