What's your Linux distro (for KDE)?

I use Ubuntu 14.04 on a 7-person team that is mostly standardized on Ubuntu with 2 dissenters (Fedora/Slackware). I am the Qt development lead and have been pondering the KDE question for some time, but while evaluating Kubuntu, I could not replicate a UI glitch in our 5.3.2 QtQuick.Controls ComboBox leading me to question chasing Ubuntu-specific UI defects when targeting embedded Linux. Devs are free to choose their own distro, but newbies are raised on the flavor of the day, which has been Ubuntu for 3 years.
I want to install KDE 5.3 (the latest right now) and expect I will have to manage KDE installs "manually". These are the options I've come up with:
- openSUSE 13.1 - evergreen release, stable but must replace KDE version
- Fedora 22 - will this be too variable for development? Supports KDE 5.2.
- Kubuntu 14.04 - stable, must upgrade KDE, but will it be around in 2 years?
I thought I had a clear solution with Kubuntu until I read about Jonathan Riddell stepping down on the Kubuntu maintenance team. Now I'm concerned that a year from now I'll be jumping to another distro if it become clear that Kubuntu does not have a stable future.
While I waste time pondering which distro to use, it occured to me that there is a whole forum full of Qt developers who may have a different opinion. So... what Linux distro do you use?

Arch Linux, because keep it simple.

OpenSUSE. Always with KDE. Have used this from version 9.x (don't remember exact version).

Debian and sometimes Gentoo.

Gentoo 99% of the time, and archlinux for my crappy virtual server since it has like 256mb of ram, so building all your software is a no go.
Be warned though Gentoo is definitely the hard core linux, and not for people that don't want absolute build control over every aspect of their system. If nothing else install times can be ridiculous due to building everything from code rather than just installing binaries.
My vote outside gentoo would probably be archlinux. Though I find them quite a bit behind gentoo in supporting new stuff. My archlinux was at kde 5.2 while my gentoo was bleeding edge (5.3 at the time), as usual.
