I was really suprised that I am on the 'Top 5 this week' list (at least for today). But I am sure I have collected much less than 2000 something point since Monday morning (even we count it from midnight). How it is calculated? It is based on rolling week? (I am just curious.)

7 days from today to history, or so they said.

EDIT: this is not even first time this is "asked":https://developer.qt.nokia.com/blog/view/project_elf#265 ;) Search works quite well.

I think that the top 3 of the first 3 weeks of project elf were very close to 4000 points. On week 2 I was second, and I scored 3600 points more or less.

Congratulations !!!! you have already been in top Three Great.
Thank you for giving me some insight I did not know about this thing going yesterday only I joined this site, and I was thinking close to 2000 should bring me in but Looks like I will have to either triple my time on the site or give up :(, I have 800 till now so looks like very very long way to go to be in top three.

By the way how do they send the gift, I dont see any place in profile where you put your address or phone, do they contact through email and take the address??

How did you find that you are in top 5? is there any way you can see what is your rank in a given week or any point of time?

                  Hi,
top 5 of the week
As you can find above this shows the top 5 of the last 7 days, so in terms of competition it will be only reliable on Saturday and Sunday.

Yes, and you have to erase the winners of the last weeks. So perhaps 4 people on the list have more points than you, but you are first for project elf, as the others already have won.

I see top five of "THIS WEEK" I am kind of confused, is that talking about from Monday 20 dec or is that talking about the week ended on 19 Dec? because all four names have already won

It's about the past 7 days.

EDIT: and it's update just in time.

Its not specific to project elf. So it will show winners name also.

If you want win, you have 3500 - 4000 points this is the media of the user that win.
The score at top 5 show the last 7 days, not the last week, so you can see the top three day by days decrease its points ( because its decrease the activity on the devnet) and the last user become the first. Its normal. Now the top three are VCSala,Vass and Wolker.
