Hello girls? and all others, (thereafter google translation :)
    among us spring is here,
it is necessary to clean up the garden.

Garden or rather the jungle of my bouzin (french in text) (Windows Mac Linux)

    1. has still modules in Qt3 (not enough time ... please do not bang the head etc.).
    2. others Qt4
    3. new in QT5

    The toolbox:
To generate all binary, I wrote a bash script that does all the work
Qt version detection module to compile, change
environment variables, running the qmake going well, otools
and other Mac strange things, and execution of developer.
    It does well.

To develop and debug a RAD
(Vi and everything, by a grandpa like me unless I'm alone in trouble
and black with just a candle to illuminate the screen .. vi and saves it happens it's true)

    • Under Linux modules for old Qt3 the only way to develop
with RAD is an old Linux distribution Mandriva VM that has the good old
Qt3 faithful and KDevelop. For the rest of Qt qtcreator does the trick.
It bathes and can debug for grandpas.
    • Windows (VM too) I have an old VC6 with everything you need
for Qt3. For the rest of Qt qtcreator is also the case.
    • Mac OSX (Lion currently 64-bit)
. I Qt4 compiled in 32-bit mode on an old CoreDuo
(With drivers inside MySQL) in order to still be compatible
           badasses with old mac.
. I compiled Qt3 idem (with drivers inside MySQL)
For all that I use Qt4 QT5 and I installed qtcreator
Qt4 kit (32-bit) which allows me to work in 32-bit
on a 64 really cool thing kits. This allows me to
work on newer machines with 64-bit compatible kit
         old machines CoreDuo 32 bits.

      Question:
I want to do the same and it would be very cool, with Qt3.
But in qtcreator when installing the kit by:

        Preferences -> Compile & Run ->
(Tab) versions of QT -> (button) Add ....

I search the Qt3 qmake and then I got this message:

        The qmake executable/la_ou_il_est/Qt3/bin/qmake
        Could not be added:

Since I can compile Qt3 with a bash script
with this version of Qt3 32 bits, it should be possible to
make a kit in qtcreator and there would be the
        pure happiness.

That information on the management of kits in qtcreator?
Thank you for your patience and goodness, waiting for your answers

I shoot my lounger in the garden to contemplate
this magnificent and late spring, the machine on knees
(il ne faut pas déco... er).

    bye girls? and all others.

I don't think Qt creator is prepared to handle such a dinosaur as Qt3's qmake. You can fill a feature request, but I don't think it will get much priority either.

Yes qtcreator can't works with Qt3 kits, but works perfectly with Qt3 and custom compilation definition parameters.

qtcreator is great, now i can work with all projects Qt3 Qt4 and Qt5 on OSX !

        Many thanks
