Hi,Need qt 4.8 IDE online installer or offline installer .I could not find them in the downloads.i found only the tar and the zip files.

Do you have QtSvg module? You can verify it with a simple test project.
Have you installed Qt from Ubuntu repositories, or from Qt Project installer, or compiled from source?

I could not install QWT 6.1.0...I have installed Qt from the Ubuntu repo

Perhaps you need to additionally install libqtsvg, then. Ubuntu packages all Qt modules separately.
