Qtcreator not opening on ubuntu 14.04 using Tight VNC

I have installed qt-opensource-linux-x64-5.3.1.run sdk on Ubuntu 14.04 using tightvnc. Also installed qtcreator 3.2.1. qtcreator not opening giving an error

Qt : XKEYBOARD extension not present on the X server
Xlib : extension "RANDR" missing on display ":7.0"
could not initialize GLX

Please provide the solution

I had the same problem using tightvnc on Debian 7.5, so I switched to using "tigervnc":http://tigervnc.org/ and QtCreator launches fine. Maybe this solution also works for you.

Tried tiger vnc. Giving same error. Please help. This is a blocker

I had the same issue with xrdp.. Using
@qtcreator -noload Welcome@
allowed me to start QtCreator, but I still have some issues with keyboard input.
