in QTCreator there are very nice checkmarks, yet in my project checkmarsk are an x. Also particallyChecked checkboxs are blank, the same as unchecked. Yet they seem to have the proper value.
Can anyone tell me what is going on here?
What OS and Qt version we are talking about here? Are you using any custom stylesheets? Does your app use QtWidgets or QtQuick?
Qt Creator 3.0.82 (3.1.0-beta-opensource) Based on Qt 5.2.1 My qt is Qt 5
My project is based on QtWidets developed using the designer.

Hm, I still suspect some custom stylesheets, or bad OS.
Try running your application with this flag: -style fusion.
