What does the red circle on a tab widget mean?

Under design mode of Qt 4.8, I am trying to add a tab widget, there is a red circle on the tab widget in the Object View, It seems I can't edit the tab widget. what is that?
I printed screen to show where the red circle is, but It seems picture can't be posted here.
Any help?

I think that you are referring to the following image like :-
!http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/4674/captureapq.jpg(tab)!If so, the above red circle represents that for the tabWidget you have not set the layout. If you add a layout to the tabs the red circle will disappear and the layout icon will be displayed.
