The Component.onCompleted() signal handler will run when everything has been initialized. http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5/qml-qtqml-component.html#onCompleted-signal

I would go for Component.onCompleted.
@Rectangle {
// ...
Component.onCompleted: // Do something
}@
You can do this for your top-level component so it'll emit when your top-level component finished initializing. -
The problem is that in Qt 5 the Component.onCompleted is called before the properties which bind to other properties finished initialization

I'm not sure if there's a feature that does what you want (yet). This is probably a question for the "Interest mailing list":http://lists.qt-project.org/mailman/listinfo/interest... (subscribe and then send an email) -- you can find Qt's engineers on that list.
