QT/C++ Application, .Net plugins?
-
Hi all,
I'm developing an application in Qt using C++ and am now starting to make it extensible through plugins using QPluginLoader. So far so good, everything is working. Now it would be nice if other devs could write their plugins in .net because not everyone likes C++.
Is this possible with the ActiveQt-framework?
Or would it be feasible to create a "proxy"-dll that is loaded instead of the .net-plugin and then delegates all calls? That dll would have to be loaded repeatedly (for each "proxied" plugin) and with different context, so seems complicated... -
Yes, you can create activex and use it on Qt and vice versa.
take a look at examples for ActiveQt to understand how to take QObject drived classes into .Net and other environments.
