Acceptdrop not working

i have a tab widget plugin . i have added some prerequisited tab at the start in the plugin. using the simple addtab method but the tab i have added does not accept drop widgets . the widgets i try to place in the tab are not its children but just placed over it . while if i insert a new poge in the designer that page works just fine. can you tell me please why is that

Hi, First of all, what does your code do?
There are options that needs to be set in designer or in code before the drag/drop action will be accepted. Check out the ui_xx.h file and check out what designer makes for you.

i have implemented the
@ void dragEnterEvent(QDragEnterEvent *event);void dropEvent(QDropEvent *event);@and have them accept all actions but still it doesnt work
