    Dear all,
I used CentOS6.3 and install Qt 5.1.1 creator.
I want to play a video with the sample "videowidget" Qt5 gives. After compile it ,I find that it can not play videos but just can play mp3 file.I tied mkv,mp4, it failed also.
I have install gstreamer good ,bad and ugly packages, and ffmpeg package.
I can play video with "mplayer".
What should I do now?Any other setting I forgot?
    Thanks first!

No, gstreamer support is simply broken and noone has time to work on this properly. At least, that is my general impression. The thing is known and crops up occasionally on the dev mailing list.

If you want real, up-to-date answers, you need to ask on IRC or dev ML.

Thank you for your help! I'm new here.
And what can be used if I don't use gstreamer?I just want to play video by Qt5.
