QML + TreeView

I know that there is some troubles with treeview in qml, and also I read that it will be "ready":http://qt-project.org/groups/qt-contributors-summit-2013/wiki/QtQuickControls_CS_2013 at Qt 5.2.

Qt 5.2 alpha already ready, so, is there any progress/news?

I am afraid a TreeView is not currently scheduled for 5.2. I have removed it from the minutes as to avoid any further confusion. There are some other threads in this forum with possible workarounds though.

Ok, and can I ask you when it scheduled? And why it was removed (except that someone just did not have enough time to implement it)?

Note that the outcome of the contributor summit is not an official schedule. The general issue is that we would like to include such functionality in qt quick core before it is added for controls. Those discussions were covered as part of other sessions at the summit. None of which made it into 5.2.

We don't have an official scheduled release date for a qt quick TreeView but we are very much aware of the feature.
