Multi-platform iconset(s) to use with application
-
Hi.
I have been working with Qt for quite a while now, and I still lack proper icons for my programs. Under Linux you can use QIcon::fromTheme(), but for a not exactly small cross-platform project that doesn't involve an artist or money to hire one, what am I supposed to do? If I somehow missed to look at the proper location in the Qt documentation, please point me to the solution of my problems. But I assume that that solution lies outside of Qt.How to get a huge amount of consistent and pretty icons for a Qt-project outside of linux? A while ago I grabbed some icons from a webpage that offered lots of free icons, but since the sets were usually quite small, the resulting set of icons looks really stitched together and, overall, very unprofessional.
I would appreciate any hints on how to solve the icon-problem once and for all, since I intend to continue using Qt for a long time.
PS: I am using Qt 5.1.

I personally like and use this free set:

That's certainly a nice start, thanks a lot! :-) But I'd still be interested in more suggestions, since choice is a good thing.
