Is there a function? Sure, there are functions. Are these in Qt? No, that is way out of scope for Qt.

No, it's not way out of Qt's scope, as sunset and sunrise from latitude, date (and time) you can easily calculate it, and Qt gives you every funcition you need.

I meant that providing these functions within Qt is outside of the scope of Qt. I did not mean to say that calculating them (in your own code) is outside the scope of Qt, as in: can't be done with Qt. It certainly can be.

There are various "places":http://bit.ly/NLTQ1x online where you can find "examples":http://williams.best.vwh.net/sunrise_sunset_algorithm.htm of equations you can use to calculate it.
