[Solved] 'QTimeZone' is missing on Qt 5.1 RC1
-
I couldn't find QTimeZone library on 5.1 RC 1. Do I need to compile it my self?
Quote from following URI "http://qt-project.org/wiki/Qt-5-QTimeZone":http://qt-project.org/wiki/Qt-5-QTimeZone
bq. Proper time zone support is a long standing request and is planned to be implemented in Qt 5.1 as part of the new localization backend being developed using ICU.

I don't have time to investigate myself, but gerrit change for this was abandoned. Ask on IRC or development mailing list.
Here is a link to the discussion: "dev ml":http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.qt.devel/10300.
And a link to "gerrit change":https://codereview.qt-project.org/#change,50068.

I saw that thread on codereview but I thought Its apply only for the patch set 10, I'm not familiar with the review process. Thank you for enlightening me :)

I am not saying that the whole initiative has died. I really don't remember the whole discussion around QTimeZone. It definitely will be included in Qt, but maybe the developers didn't make it in time for Qt 5.1. I really recommend asking the devs on the mailing list/ IRC.

It confirmed QTimeZone will available from Qt 5.2 . Confirmed by today Qt 5.2 alpha release note.
