Blink fork, what's Qt position?
-
Last week, Google decided to fork WebKit as Blink for integration in Chrome.
Does it impact Qt framework? If so, will Qt go for Blink or continue with WebKit?
Announcement on Chromium blog:

From what I understood so far: Wait a bit and see what happens.
At this time the repos are still almost identical, so it is hard to say where blink or webkit will go now and which one will be a better fit for Qt in the long run.

just found on another side the hint that webkit/apple is thinking about cleaning javascript-bindings (especially removing V8-binding from webkit)
https://lists.webkit.org/pipermail/webkit-dev/2013-April/024388.htmlI think this is a more interesting part of the story for Qt ... as V8 was preferred for Qt5 ...
