The two articles are very very similar and it is a shame that there is no external link to original article by Andy Shaw :(

Btw this case is nice opportunity to highlight Qt Developer Network Wiki because everybody can update the articles and the history can be easily retrieved :)
Contact the original author (Andy Shaw) and Digia.
Thanks for your reply. Those have been the first things I've tried. Unfortunately I can't find an appropriate link in the Digia website to report this problem. I expected to use the "Contact Us":http://info.qt.digia.com/contact-qt/ link but it seems to be completely focused on potential customers. And the author's email doesn't appear in the aforementioned qt blog page. I suppose I can leave a comment in that page reporting the plagiarism, it is just that I thought there was a formal procedure for dealing with this kind of issues.

Apparently there is none. You can try contacting "Gurudutt":http://qt-project.org/member/4, he is the admin for Qt Project page, so he might have a better idea where to go with this.

Hi - Thanks for the heads up. We are flattered that our developer posts are being used externally. However, our policy is that while we love that people replicate our content, we would like for our hard-working Qt engineers to get the credit. We will contact the blog site and ask for accreditation to Andy Shaw, Head of Support at Digia, Qt. We will also post a short guideline on how to reuse our blog posts:

            • You are free to copy and republish a blog post or parts of a blog post, BUT the author must be accredited somewhere in the new content AND a link to the original blog post must be included.

            Thanks again for the help!

Head of Global Marketing, Digia Qt

Sounds like a good candidate for "Creative Commons":http://creativecommons.org/choose/. Qt Project wiki already uses CC.

                Hi,

there is at least one more plagiarized Qt blog page in the same website, see:

Yes, the blog is not available now. Good news I believe. I suspect there was a large amount of plagiarized content there.

It's very unfortunate that some "writers" lack the ethics to at least credit the source...
