I just had a question regarding building applications with Qt and the GNU
do i have to buy Qt Commercial for other's to purchase my software ?

With the LGPL, it's not necessary to buy a commercial license to create commercial software. However, there are restrictions regarding distribution of the Qt libraries, etc.. There have been other posts on the forums covering this. You should be able to search for them.

Commercial does not necessarily mean closed source :-)
For the latter you will have to comply with the LGPL or use a commercial license. But even if you make your application open source under GPL, you are still allowed to sell it and make money out of it.
