Entering License Key for QT Commercial SDK
-
Hey, I just got the 30-day trial of QT commercial with QT creator and tools.
When I try to compile any project, I get this:
*This software is using the trial version of the Qt GUI toolkit.
The trial period has expired. If you need more time to

The problem is I had previously downloaded the wrong installation and enter my key there. How can I enter a new key or change the old one? It says I can change the key in the SDK Manager but that only lets me install/update/remove. I've been trying to get HelloWorld to run for about 5 hours now, I'm really getting frustrated..

Finally got it working! Had to delete .qt-license in my Roaming appdata folder and reinstall.

If you submit your project somewhere, you should check, whether the trial version is the rightone. It is for playing a bit around befor bying a commercial version.
If you submit your project somewhere, you should use the GPL or LGPL version instead, and not try to reenable the commercial one.

Hello, I had the same situation and I just changed the license via the Qt Enterprise Management Tool:
- select the "update" option: it prompts to enter user and password
- enter user and password that you have on this website: https://account.qt.io/login
- it will prompt you to select your license. In my case I could choose from the trial version and the license I just purchased
Done deal!
