Build gdb

Hi
I am trying to build gdb on a windows box by following the instructions here
http://qt-project.org/wiki/QtCreatorBuildGdb
I am getting the following error when building -

configure: error: in 'c/gdb-7.4/intl':
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
@

Can anyone help me with this?

Did you set up your cmd prompt in such a way that the compiler can be found?
