Speech Recognisation in Qt

Qt has no speech recognition APIs, your best chance is to look for a third party library, preferably a C or C++ one, since it is a performance critical task, and use that alongside Qt.

What the problem with Windows SAPI? or you need speech recognition for over platforms? There is good examples in Windows SDK for programming with SAPI.

@AcerExtensa , thnx for rply ...can you provide me any link or url regarding this.... i want to use this for my Qt Symbian. I had read much about PocketSphinx also, but not able to port that for my Qt.

Windows SAPI is only for windows and windows ce, you can't use them for Symbian. Anyway, you can find SAPi samples here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee125103(v=vs.85).aspx

Have no idea about Symbian, but where is some simple GPL'd projects, maybe you can use some of them. For example "Open Mind":http://freespeech.sourceforge.net/

It will be sweet sunny day, when I will contribute Qt. I will work on QtInteractive module (face recog, speech recog).

But now it's only idea.
