QtCreator under arm arch (Cubox)
-
Hello, I've recently purchased a Cubox (with Ubuntu 10.04 installed by default) and I've installed QtCreator on it, via Synaptic Package Manager.
The thing is that it's being impossible to start QtCreator, even though it seems to be properly installed (it shows no error either).
I'd like to know if someone has headed with the same problem.As a result, I decided to try qmake+make under command line, but, despite being successful while qmaking+making, then, when I execute the application the following error appears: "Illegal instruction" and the application exits.
I'd really appreciate any help with this. In the following lines I've appended some information that might be useful. Thanks.
$ file pruebaqt

Hi,
Did you try to use the package provided by Qt instead the Ubuntu one?
You can download the last SDK here: http://qt-project.org/downloads
Hope it helps.

We do not provide a ARM binary for linux AFAIK, so unfortunately you will have to stick with Ubuntu there.
Did you check the ubuntu bug database yet? Maybe it is a known issue.

Hello,
thanks for the replies.
To David, i'd like to give thanks for his interest, but I ried the package unsuccessfully.
To Tobias, I will try what he proposes.
Cheers
