Cloning a QDeclarativeItem (preserving bindings of original)
-
Hello all,
is there any possibility to create a "clone" from a given QDeclarativeItem that does not lose its bindings?
What I want to do is the following:
I have an application with lots of components on different tabs and want the user to select specific components to be opened as a copy in another window (i.e. another QGraphicsView with a new Scene but in the same engine and context) and therefor I would have to keep the bindings to certain context properties of the original object intact for the new one to work as expected.
But after doing quite some research I did not find a solution for this, as it seems (at least to me) that everything on the C++ side is quite limited (see QDeclarativeProperty).Any suggestions?
Greets,
Bernhard
