How to get rid of update notifications? [bug filed]

Hello,

I am using Qt Creator with my own makefiles (not qmake) on Linux.

In the past several days I've been getting an update notification for Harmattan Documentation. I don't need this doc and I do not have it installed on the first place. I click on Update, that gets me to the dialog box to select/deselect components I'd like to update, so I deselect it then I can only do Cancel. The very next day the same notification appears again. How do I get rid of it?

Simplest way to turn that notifications of is to go to help->plugins and disable the update plugin (don't remember the exact name right now). That will of course turn of all notifications.

You could also "file a bug report":http://bugreports.qt-project.org/ against the Qt SDK and notify the developers. It might or might not be a feature that you get the notification in the first place, but it definitely is annoying to get the same notification repeatedly:-)

Yeah, that's the thing, I want to receive the notifications but not for the update I have previously deselected. I need a Close button that once I click will remember my choice. I'll file a bug report. Thanks for input.

I am not sure which Component do I file it?

I think you should file it for "Qt Creator" and as component "Other".

I already did it - Qt Creator and component Installer - the closest I could see.
