Tools to share monitor/keyboard/mouse across several

What are convenient tools to allow me to share monitor/keyboard/mouse across several PC's while cross developing with Qt. I am currently using VNC, but for some remote PC's the local monitor has a lower screen resolution than the one I am using in "common".

That highly depends on the OS you are using.
On windows I would use the remote desktop feature of windows.
On Linux, X11 forwarding would be a possibility.
