Can Smart Installer be quicker?

My full package with smart installer is only 262KB. But the package with smart installer takes 2 minutes more than the same installation without it over 3g networks in my N8. The same package without smart installer only takes seconds in the installation.

Anyone also thinks smart installer takes too much time?

Once end user has downloaded a Smart Installer enabled package the device starts the install process for this package. During this step the first thing to happen is that the Smart Installer bootstrap component part of the package initiates the library dependency checking process before actually installing the application itself.

I know how it works. I just think it needs to be sped up.

I doubt that the process is purposefully written slowly and that if it were possible to speed it up, it would be.
