[Solved]Qt Creator Menu Bar

I can type a name int the menu bar, "Type Here" As soon as I leave the field, the name goes away. What is the trick here? What am I doing wrong.

Which menubar are you referring to? Where is it?

He is refering to Qt Designer, or the the Designer plugin in Qt Creator, and he's working on a MainWindow there. The "trick" is to press <Return> before leaving the field. Apart from that I would recommend to do a Mainwindow with "real" code, not within Designer.
