I have installed eclipse Indigo in a linux box running ubuntu 11.10 64bit, and then I installed qt-eclipse-integration plugin (version 1.6.1). The plugin is not detected by eclipse, it is completely ignored and no Qt menu, view, wizard... shows up in the eclipse menus.

In the past I have had no trouble installing the eclipse integration plugin on an eclipse Helios 64 bit installation.

Any hint on what could be wrong or where to look at would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Please check in the windows-> preferences

there if u find Qt, then it is installed on your machine and integrated, and u just have to set the bin path and include path in it, and u are ready.

if there is no Qt, then qt is not integrated with eclipse, so please check that weather u have followed all the steps required for the integration or not..

there must be a very simple thing which u have missed out.

There is not now, nor has there ever been, nor will there ever be, any programming language in which it is the least bit difficult to write bad code.

Qt does not show up in window->preferences, so the plugin did not integrate correctly.

I have checked the steps several times, with no success. I have sucessfully installed qt-eclipse-integration in other computers running windows and linux, but this ubuntu 11.10 x86_64 + Eclipse Indigo setup is giving me some troubles...
