Installing Qt SDK on mac 10.5.8
-
I cannot find the proper version of qt to download for my mac 10.5.8. I have seen another post similar to this one, but the link provided just gave me an error and I cant seem to find a definitive answer on where to get the right version. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your 10.5 Mac is PowerPC based, then there is no SKD for you. The SDK only contains code for the Intel based Macs (32 bit x86 and 64 bit x86_64). If your Mac is Intel based, it should work, but I didn't try it myself, though.

I do have a 64 bit Intel based Mac so looks like good news, but I have no clue as to which version of the SDK to download. If you could provide a link that would be awesome.

Oh, I just saw that the latest SDK ist for 10.6 and upwards only. I'm afraid, but I would say there is no support for 10.5 here.
You can always grab the pieces of the SDK manually and install them:
- download Qt Creator - it works with all Qt versions
- download Qt libs - there are prebuilt binaries for 10.5 availabel at http://qt.nokia.com/downloads/qt-for-open-source-cpp-development-on-mac-os-x
- alternatively build the Qt libs manually - use the vanilla sources from http://qt.nokia.com/downloads/downloads#qt-lib

do you know if there are any older versions of Qt SDK that were for 10.5?

Sorry, I don't know that. Maybe a google search can give you some pointers.
