Should mailto: links work in Qt Assistant?
-
We are using Qt Assistant as the help viewer for our application, and "mailto:" links do not work. (They work if you open the underlying HTML in a normal browser.) Are they supposed to? I was not able to find any documentation on what HTML features might be disabled.
If they are supposed to work, could the problem be that it is not using WebKit? Is there a way to tell if QTextBrowser or WebKit is being used? The Qt Assistant we are using is one we built ourselves from the Qt sources. (We are building WebKit.)
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Bump. Can anyone at least confirm that this is the expected behavior?

Has anyone out there figured out how to open "mailto" from QtAssistant? Because I am stuck with the same problem as the above user.

mailto: is not part of the Qt Assistant specs because it is not a web browser. https: links don't work on it either.
