Every time I start up my Qt project, I get an error message that says the following.

"Unable to create debian templates: dh_make failed (Unknown error)"

Does anybody know how to prevent this message?

      On what OS are you?
How did you install the Qt sdk? From the repos, using installer offline / online, compiling yourself...

Please give us some more info.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. I installed Qt SDK from the online installer.

Have you tried using one of the wizards? If so which one?

I don't think I've tried using any wizards. I just installed it yesterday, so I'm not very familiar with everything.

I would suggest to try one of the wizards first to get a working project, you can learn from.

Your program, was it made on linux and are you trying it now on windows? Did you make it yourself? If not where did you get it from?

I just created a project by going to File>New Project, and I have no idea about what the wizard your are talking about is.

In that case "this is a good read":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/doc/qt-4.7/gettingstarted-develop.html for you.

Also, have a look in the wiki for specific subjects and FAQ's. Your description of what you want is still rather general so I can't guide you to more specific ones.
