    Hi,

I'm trying to use the new Qt Project and the Gerrit system (on Windows), but I have to use http to access the archives as it seems to be the only way to get Git to work through our company fire wall etc. All of the examples I've found give Git commands using ssh rather than http, are there any examples with http or a simple way to convert one command format to the other?

I did have everything set up to work with Gitorious, but since the move to Gerrit nothing is working any more. :(

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place...

    Steve

You can still clone from gitorious, but that's a read-only repo now. Actual access through ssh for gerrit is afaik only necessary for contributing. I did setup the qt 5 repo from gitorious and it's got a setup script that arranges the gerrit stuff for you. You can use http if you wish. (company firewall as well.)

Thanks for that. I'm going to try and contribute to the Qt Creator project... Is the setup script you used available in the qt 5 repo, and would it be any use for Qt Creator?
